Third-ranked Wisconsin-River Falls used four first-period goals to breeze past St. Scholastica 5-3 in nonconference play Tuesday night in River Falls.
Dani Sibley factored in every goal for the Falcons (23-2), recording four assists before scoring the game's final goal.
The Saints climbed out of the four-goal deficit with three unanswered tallies in the second and third periods, capped off with Duluth Denfeld's Alexia Klaas scoring a power-play goal at 10:59 of the third period. But Sibley squashed the momentum with her own unassisted tally 34 seconds later.
Lexi Tomeczek made 41 saves for CSS (11-10-2), and Tatyana Delaittre stopped 12 shots for the Falcons.
