St. Scholastica’s Sierra Hanowski scored a pair of power-play goals in a 49-second span of the second period, but Concordia-Wisconsin earned a 2-2 NCHA draw on Lexi Holman’s third-period goal Sunday at Mequon, Wis.
Concordia (3-3-1 overall, 2-2-1 NCHA) took a 1-0 lead on Veronika Metanova’s 6-on-4 goal 8:52 into the second period. The Saints (4-3-1, 2-2-1) then took the lead when Hanowski scored her first two goals of the season at 17:27 and 18:16, respectively, the first on a 6-on-4 power play and again with an advantage less than a minute later.
Holman equalized with 6:58 left in the third period.
CSS goaltender Lindsey Hartfiel and Concordia’s Breanna Thompson each made 26 saves.
