College women's hockey: Bussey nets four in St. Scholastica victory

Hibbing graduate scores hat trick plus one in third period.


Allie Bussey did a natural hat trick one better, scoring four consecutive third-period goals in St. Scholastica’s 6-2 NCHA victory over Concordia-Wisconsin on Friday night in Mequon, Wisconsin.

Bussey, a Hibbing graduate, began her run at the 5-minute mark of the third with her fifth goal of the season and then added her sixth, seventh and eighth goals over the next 5:35 as part of a five-goal period by the Saints (3-5 overall, 2-3 NCHA).

Rachel Anderson and Abby Pohlkamp also scored for St. Scholastica.

Ali Eiden and Sarah Pearson tallied for Concordia (5-10, 3-1).
