College women’s hockey: Blaine forward commits to Bulldogs

Forward Dani Brunette of Ham Lake, Minnesota has posted 20 or more points as a freshman and sophomore for the Bengals.

Minnesota Duluth received a verbal commitment via Instagram on Monday from 16-year-old Dani Brunette out of Ham Lake, Minnesota.

The third Bulldogs’ recruit for the 2022-23 season, Brunette has posted 20 or more points in each of the last two seasons at Blaine High School, tallying 13 goals and 11 assists in 27 games in 2019-20 as a sophomore and 11 goals and 15 assists the year before as a freshman.

Other juniors-to-be already committed to UMD for 2022-23 include Shattuck St. Mary’s forward McKenzie Rich and North Wright County defenseman Chloe Finnerty.
