College women's basketball: Wolves dominate against 'Dogs

Alison Kusler had 16 of his 24 points as Northern State overcame a 37-29 halftime deficit to beat Minnesota Duluth 70-59 on Saturday in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference game before 408 fans at Romano Gym.

Rachel Krogman added 19 points as the Wolves (15-3 overall, 11-3 NSIC) shot 58 percent in the second half to outscore UMD 41-22 after the break.

Danielle Flood had 15 points and Hannah Rutten added 13 points and eight rebounds to lead the Bulldogs (9-9, 6-8), who shot just 18 percent in the second half.
