Sophomore guard Michala Walther had a career-high 31 points as St. Scholastica topped Bethany Lutheran 68-61 in UMAC play Friday at Reif Gym.

Walther, who became the school's first women's player to net more than 30 points in 13 seasons, added 10 rebounds while playing all 40 minutes to earn her first double-double of the season for the Saints (7-13 overall, 5-7 UMAC).

The Vikings (9-11, 7-5) went on a 15-4 run in the opening quarter en route to a 33-23 halftime lead. CSS took the lead for good after outscoring Bethany Lutheran 23-8 in the third quarter.
