Wisconsin-Superior forced 28 turnovers to survive an off night shooting in a 69-54 defeat of Bethany Lutheran College in a UMAC semifinal Wednesday night at Mertz Mortorelli Gym.

Hailey Kontny scored a team-high 14 points but only shot 6-for-18 from the field, indicative of the Yellowjackets' 36-percent overall shooting.

But UWS (22-4), which rolled through the UMAC regular season undefeated for a second straight year, outrebounded the Vikings 43-36, committed half as many turnovers and won the bench scoring 32-12 to set up a championship match against second-seeded Minnesota-Morris on Saturday night at home.

Eva Reinertsen of Duluth added 10 points for UWS.

Brooke Henning's 18 points paced the Vikings (13-14).
