Superior senior Hailey Kontny is one of four high school recruits who recently signed letters of intent at Minnesota Duluth, the school announced Thursday.
Kontny started four seasons as a guard for the Spartans and is a three-time All-Lake Superior Conference first-team selection. She also has received Wisconsin Division 1 honorable mention honors each year since her freshman season.
Other signees include: Ayo Porte, a forward from Brooklyn Park, Minn., who is finishing her career at Osseo, which has placed second and fourth at the last two state tournaments; Anna Monke of Fergus Falls, Minn., who has earned All-Central Lakes honors the past two seasons; and Amanda Hunt, a native of Grafton, Wis., who was first-team All-North Shore Conference selection last season for Grafton High School.
