Sammy Kozlowski had a game-high 18 points and eight rebounds as Minnesota Duluth beat Minnesota State-Mankato 71-63 in NSIC play Friday night in Mankato, Minn.
The Bulldogs (13-8 overall, 11-6 NSIC) shot just 38.6 percent on field goals, but were 11-for-21 from beyond the arc.
Koslowski hit four 3-pointers in the second quarter as UMD took a 38-27 halftime lead. The Mavericks (12-9, 8-9) overcame a 21-point deficit to pull within three points, but Taylor Meyer scored six points over the final 90 seconds to secure the win for UMD.
