Saints hold on to beat Eagles

St. Scholastica used a late 10-0 run to beat Northwestern 64-60 on Friday night in an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference women's game before 561 fans in St. Paul.

Mariah Hovick and Kayla Heisler had 15 points each to lead the Saints (8-12 overall, 6-3 UMAC). Erin Frase added 10 points and Laura Amys added six points and 10 rebounds.

Chanel Madson had 17 points to lead the Eagles (6-14, 3-6).
