St. Scholastica players Erin Frase, Mariah Hovick and Kelsey Sorenson-Giffrow, along with coach Stacy Deadrick, were honored by the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference on Tuesday.
Frase and Hovick earned UMAC first-team honors and Sorenson-Giffrow second-team honors, while Deadrick was named coach of the year.
Frase, a senior forward from Phillips, Wis., earned first-team honors for the second straight season after averaging 12.8 points in league games with a 46.8 field goal percentage, third-best in the league.
Hovick, a junior guard from Prior Lake, Minn., earned first-team honors after being an honorable mention selection last year. She averaged 10.3 points per game while finishing third in the league with 83 assists. She shot 46.6 percent, fourth-best in the league. She was also named to the UMAC all-defensive team.
Sorenson-Giffrow, a sophomore guard from Braham, Minn., averaged 10.4 points per game while leading the conference with a 41.2 3-point percentage and 91.9 free-throw percentage.

Deadrick, in her 20th season leading the Saints, earned top coaching honors after St. Scholastica won a program-best 11 UMAC games this season.
Northwestern senior guard Mollie Sir was named conference player of the year while Minnesota-Morris' Tori Holt was named freshman of the year.
