Sally Linzmeier scored a game-high 23 points to lead Wisconsin-Superior to a 74-63 victory over St. Scholastica on Monday night at Reif Gym.
Linzmeier added nine rebounds and six steals for the Yellowjackets (2-2), who rode a fast start to a 34-24 halftime lead. Grace Kennedy chipped in with 10 points and eight rebounds for UWS as the visitors controlled play inside -- the Yellowjackets posted a 40-24 edge in points in the paint as well as a 22-12 advantage in second-chance points.
Freshman Kayla Swanson of Hibbing led the Saints (0-4) with 16 points.
