Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State will clash in the NSIC tournament semifinals at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D.

UMD leads the all-time series 30-29 after winning 53-42 at St. Cloud State on Dec. 1 and 59-54 on Dec. 30 at Romano Gym in Duluth. The Bulldogs have taken three games from the Huskies only one time, in 2006-07.

UMD (21-6) is coming off an 80-72 quarterfinal win over Augustana on Saturday as senior guard Sammy Kozlowski had a career-high 27 points, helping ice the game by going 14-for-19 at the free-throw line. Junior forward Katie Stark of Hayward notched her first career double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. The Bulldogs, ranked fifth in the latest Central Region rankings, likely cemented their place in the NCAA postseason with the win, while the Huskies were not ranked and are fighting to move up.

St. Cloud State (19-9) is coming off an 85-57 quarterfinal win over Bemidji State as junior guard Madelin Dammann's 15 points led four Huskies in doubles figures, and seven who scored at least eight points.

UMD leads the 16-team NSIC in scoring defense at 55.1 points per game, while St. Cloud State is second, only allowing 58.8.
