Senior right-side hitter April Hansen became the 15th player in Minnesota Duluth history to top 1,000 career kills during the Bulldogs' 25-14, 25-13, 25-20 victory over St. Cloud State on Tuesday night at Romano Gym.
Hansen, of Brooten, Minn., had seven kills in just 11 swings and is now tied with Linda Nicoski for 13th on UMD's all-time list with 1,003 career kills.
