College volleyball: UMD wins tough match with Upper Iowa

Sophomore outside hitter Kate Lange of Hibbing had 18 kills and 19 digs as Minnesota Duluth stayed unbeaten with a 26-24, 25-21, 23-25, 26-24 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference victory over Upper Iowa on Friday night in Fayette, Iowa.

Senior Hannah Johnson had 13 kills and junior middle blocker Kallie Lochner added 12 for the Bulldogs (20-0 overall, 11-0 NSIC), who had a season-high 54 errors, and senior setter Eleena Iisakka had 50 set assists.

Senior April Hansen contributed 10 kills, while freshman Julie Rainey had a match-high 23 digs.

Sara Vance had 11 kills to lead the Peacocks (11-9, 5-6).
