Junior Kate Lange of Hibbing had a match-high 18 kills to lead Minnesota Duluth to a 3-0 victory over Minnesota State-Mankato on Saturday at Romano Gym, giving the sixth-ranked Bulldogs their second consecutive win over a top 10-ranked Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference opponent.
Lange, the nation's leading attacker in kills per set, hit at a .359 percentage and added seven digs and four blocks to lead UMD to the 26-24, 25-20, 25-14 win over the No. 10 Mavericks.
Ashley Hinsch had 39 set assists for the Bulldogs (15-1 overall, 6-1 NSIC), who beat fourth-ranked and five-time defending NCAA Division II champion Concordia-St. Paul on Friday night.
