College volleyball: UMD sweeps Upper Iowa

The second-ranked Bulldogs (14-1 overall, 5-1 NSIC) won 25-17, 25-22, 25-19 to improve to 8-0 lifetime against the Peacocks (6-9, 2-4) and record their 19th consecutive win at home.

Lange, a native of Hibbing, moved past Joclyn Young (1,696) for third all-time in kills with 1,697. Callie Zwettler (1,757) and Vicky Braegelmann (1,843) are the only two ex-Bulldogs ahead of Lange on the all-time chart.

The only other Bulldog to produce double-digit kills was sophomore middle blocker Monica Turner, who collected 11 kills on 22 swings. Sophomore setter Ashley Hinsch dished out 44 assists.
