Minnesota Duluth's late-season slide continued Saturday with a 3-0 loss to Northern State in an NSIC match at Aberdeen, S.D.

One day after falling in five sets to Minnesota State-Moorhead, the fifth-ranked Bulldogs (19-4 overall, 12-3 NSIC) fell 25-19, 25-20, 27-25 to the Wolves (20-3, 13-2).

Abby Thor had a team-high 10 kills for UMD, who only hit .118 as a team.

Hailey Busch led Northern State with 15 kills.

• St. Scholastica swept Crown College 25-13, 25-15, 25-13 at Reif Gym and now has one day to prepare for the UMAC postseason tournament.

Christaia Houser of Esko totaled 14 kills for the Saints (13-18 overall, 9-7 UMAC) and Brooke Schermann added 10. Espi Austvold had 20 set assists as CSS finished fifth in the conference regular season and will travel to New Ulm, Minn., to play Martin Luther College at 7 p.m. Monday.

Crown finished 3-24 and 2-14.

• Wisconsin-Superior closed the regular season with a 25-22, 21-25, 25-17, 26-24 loss to Hamline University in St. Paul.

Leah Nightingale led the Yellowjackets (18-12) with 14 kills and Emily VerWay contributed 36 set assists for UWS, which qualified for the five-team UMAC postseason tournament.

Cass Bittle and Reilly Geistfeld paced the Pipers (6-24) with 17 kills apiece.
