UMD sweeps Winona State to go 21-0
Minnesota Duluth remained the unbeaten leader in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference with a sweep of Winona State 25-21, 25-22, 25-21 Saturday afternoon in Winona, Minn.
The No. 4-ranked Bulldogs are 21-0 overall and 12-0 in the NSIC, while Winona State (13-8) is 7-5 in the league.
UMD's freshman libero Julie Rainey had 18 digs, while outside hitter Kate Lange added 16 kills, Hannah Johnson 12 and Kalli Lochner nine. Senior right side hitter April Hansen had seven kills to push her career total to 1,020.
Senior setter Eleena Iisakka finished with 40 assists.
