Thunder fall in opener
Central Lakes overcame a sluggish first set to beat Fond du Lac 20-25, 25-10, 25-11, 25-10 in their Minnesota College Athletic Conference season opener on Tuesday in Cloquet.
Candice Paulson had eight kills and two ace serves, MaKayleigh Cahoon had 10 digs, Marita Yellowhammer had five blocks and Kourtney Karppinen chipped in with four kills and three blocks for the Thunder.
