Saints win two on same night
St. Scholastica claimed a doubleheader sweep Wednesday night with wins over Northland College 25-9, 25-11, 25-10 and Wisconsin-Superior 25-11, 25-10, 25-21 to run its winning streak to eight matches.
Leading the Saints (22-6) against Northland were Anna Zyvoloski with 15 kills and Megan Windschitl with seven, and Sarah Kurtovich with 29 set assists.
Against UWS, Zyvoloski and Paige Hardy each had 16 kills, Nikki Hughes and Kurtovich added 11 digs each and Kurtovich had 35 set assists.
Salaan Gilbert had eight kills for UWS (15-16).
