College volleyball: Saints cancel season opener due to COVID protocols

St. Scholastica was going to open Wednesday night at Nebraska Wesleyan but now will wait a couple weeks.

The St. Scholastica volleyball team announced Wednesday it has canceled its season opener in addition to a weekend trip to Colorado due to COVID-19 protocols.

The Saints were set to open the season Wednesday night at Nebraska Wesleyan in Lincoln, Nebraska, before heading to Colorado College. They will now open their season Sept. 17 at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa.
