College volleyball: Mustangs put skids to UMD win streak

Reiss, a senior from Taunton, Minn., had match highs of 16 kills, 13 digs and five blocks as the Mustangs snapped the Bulldogs' seven-match winning streak. Emma Thomssen added 37 set assists and 11 digs for Southwest Minnesota State (13-5, 8-2 NSIC).

Kate Berg had 16 kills and 13 digs to lead UMD (15-4, 8-2), while Sarah Kelly added 15 kills and Emily Torve had 48 assists and 11 digs.

โ€ข Corrina Evans had 10 kills as Augsburg swept St. Scholastica 25-12, 25-23, 25-9 in a nonconference match in Minneapolis.

Malley Morgan paced the offense with 34 assists for the Auggies (17-3) while adding eight digs.

Brooke Schermann had seven kills and six digs to lead the Saints (7-13), who dropped their third straight.
