Moore gets 300th victory with Saints
St. Scholastica coach Dana Moore gained her 300th victory in 16 seasons Friday night as St. Scholastica swept Houghton (N.Y.) College and St. Lawrence (N.Y.) University in the 43rd Oneonta State Invitational in Oneonta, N.Y.
The Saints defeated the Houghton Highlanders 25-18, 25-16 and 25-21. Ann Zyvoloski led the way with 15 kills, while Caitlin McKernon and Kortney Morrin each added five kills. McKernon also had five blocks.
St. Scholastica followed with a 26-24, 25-13, 25-17 win over St. Lawrence. Zyvoloski had 17 kills and 16 digs to pace the Saints, while Morrin added nine kills.
Moore is 300-200 with the Saints.
