Kate Berg and Makenzie Morgen each had 10 kills and nine digs as fifth-ranked Minnesota Duluth swept Minot State 25-16, 25-9, 25-9 for the Bulldogs' fifth straight victory in NSIC volleyball on Friday night before 613 at Romano Gym.
Morgen also had four ace serves in another nice all-around game for the Bulldogs (18-2 overall, 11-1 NSIC), who improved to 7-0 at home this season. Emily Torve had 26 set assists while leading an offense that had 45 kills to just five errors and a season-high .488 attack percentage.
Kelsey Dewulf had 17 set assists to lead Minot State (4-17, 0-12), which had an attack percentage of just .046, the worst for a UMD opponent this season.
