For the second consecutive year, Minnesota Duluth junior Emilee Trost was selected as the NSIC Indoor Women's Track Athlete of the Year.
Trost finished as the top individual point producer at last weekend's NSIC indoor meet for the second year in row. The Goodhue, Minn., native set meet records in the mile and 600-meter runs last weekend, while also taking first in the 1,000 meters. Trost ranks among the top five in NCAA Division II in the 800, 3,000 and distance medley relay.
Trost and teammates Breanna Colbenson, Allie Stalboerger and freshmen Paige DuBois and Elizabeth Kyes will compete in the Division II Indoor Championships next week in Birmingham, Ala.
