College track and field: St. Scholastica's Huberty finishes as All-American

Junior Becky Huberty of Lena, Wis., became the first woman in St. Scholastica track and field history to earn All-America status, placing fourth in the hammer throw Friday in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships in La Crosse, Wis.

Wisconsin-Oshkosh senior Samantha Loew won the event with a throw of 191 feet. Huberty, in her third NCAA meet, finished at 181-9. She competes today in the shot put, while teammate Rachel Miller is in the triple jump.
