College softball: UMD sweeps at Hy-Vee Classic

Lauren Oberle and Sammi Sadler each had two RBIs to back Sam Hartmann's four-hitter as Minnesota Duluth opened the Hy-Vee Classic in St. Joseph, Mo., with a 7-1 win over Northwest Missouri State on Friday.

UMD defeated Nebraska-Kearney 6-2 in the second game.

Natalie Wright was 3-for-5 and scored three runs in the Bulldogs' 11-hit attack vs. Northwest Missouri, while Hartmann did the rest by striking out five and walking only one.
