Upper Iowa's Katie Samuels scored on a 30-yard shot in the 79th minute as Minnesota Duluth lost its second consecutive 1-0 NSIC game Sunday afternoon in Fayette, Iowa.
Samuels netted her fourth goal of the season by beating UMD goalkeeper Carlye Wright with one of six shots on goal by the Peacocks (3-9-2 overall, 2-7-2 NSIC).
All seven shots on goal by the Bulldogs (5-8-1, 4-6-1) were stopped by goalie Natalie Rudrud.
• St. Scholastica's Morgan Friday of Duluth scored the lone goal on a free kick in the 25th minute to defeat Hamline 1-0 in a nonconference women's game Sunday at Saints Field.
Goalkeeper Roni Rudolph of Duluth stopped all seven shots she faced as CSS (8-4-2) won its third game in a row.

• Andrew Stuempfig scored two of St. Thomas' three second-half goals as the Tommies rallied from a halftime deficit to beat St. Scholastica 3-1 in a nonconference men's game Sunday at Saints Field.
Jordan Finneran gave the Saints (6-6-1) a 1-0 lead with his fifth goal of the season in the 28th minute.
But Stuempfig tallied in the 52nd and 74th minutes, sandwiching goals around one by Willd Kidd in the 67th minute, as the Tommies improved to 11-3-1.
