The Minnesota Duluth rugby club team has advanced to the Final Four of the men's Division II College National Championship.
Trace Bolstad and Lee McMillan each scored two tries as the undefeated, No. 2-ranked Fighting Penguins crushed St. Louis University 58-7 on Sunday in the Elite Eight round in St. Louis. Matt Martin, Logan Hanson, Blake Martin, Jake Luetgers, Cody Christenson and Derrek Van Klein each scored one for UMD.
The Fighting Penguins reached that game by beating the University of Louisiana-Lafayette 78-5 on Saturday.
UMD, champion of the Northern Lights Collegiate Conference, advances to the Final Four on Dec. 7-8 at Furman University in Greenville, S.C.
