Senior goalie Sam Reed had five saves as he tied a St. Scholastica record with his 30th career shutout to lead the Saints to a 5-0 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference men's victory over Bethany Lutheran on Saturday at Saints Field.

Reed, of Eastbourne, England, already owns the record for shutouts in a season with 13 last year. He is now tied for the career mark with Adam Whitehead (2004-07).

Freshman Andrew Jenkins had two goals for St. Scholastica (6-1 overall, 2-0 UMAC), which had a 25-8 shots advantage over Bethany Lutheran (3-3, 1-1).
