Wisconsin-Superior was picked to finish last in the five-team Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in a preseason poll released Thursday.
Wisconsin-Eau Claire was chosen to finish first in the poll voted on by WIAC head coaches and sports information directors.
UWS has 11 returning letterwinners, including junior forward Daniel Litchke of Superior, who was second on the team with 15 goals and third with 20 points. Senior forward Ian Ecklund of Proctor was second with 15 assists.
The Yellowjackets went 8-19-2 overall and 1-6-1 in conference play in Richard McKenna's debut as coach last season.
