St. Norbert received five goals from five different players to defeat St. Scholastica 5-1 in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association's Harris Cup Championship Saturday night before 1,365 fans at the Cornerstone Center in De Pere, Wis.
The No. 1-ranked Green Knights (25-3-1) scored twice in the first period, once in the second and twice more in the third to claim the conference playoff title and earn the automatic bid to the NCAA Division III tournament.
Dave Williams scored the Saints' lone goal at 16:25 of the third period on the power play.
David Jacobson stopped 17 shots for St. Norbert, while CSS goalie Tyler Bruggeman also made 17 saves.
No. 15 St. Scholastica finished the season with a 16-9-4 record.
