Wisconsin-Superior's season came to an end after being shut out by Wisconsin-Eau Claire 3-0 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship game on Saturday night in Eau Claire.
Goalie Dayn Belfour made 22 saves in the season finale for the Yellowjackets (11-15-3).
Patrick Moore, Ross Andersen and Joe Krause each scored a goal, and Jay Deo made 42 saves to preserve the shutout for the Blugolds (19-8-1).
