Wisconsin-Superior fell behind early and stayed there despite a couple surges, resulting in a 78-68 nonconference men's basketball loss to Lawrence on Saturday, Dec. 18 in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Brandon Danowski's 3-pointer 6:21 into the game proved to give the Vikings the lead for good, as it was followed by a 18-7 run. UWS closed within two but trailed 36-29 at halftime and by as many as 16 early in the second half. The Yellowjackets got no closer than six points the rest of the way.
