College men’s basketball: Wisconsin-Green Bay pulls away to down UWS in exhibition win

Cem Kirciman added 12 points off the bench for the Phoenix, who led 40-31 at halftime before outscoring the Yellowjackets 37-17 the rest of the way. Wisconsin-Green Bay had a 42-18 advantage in rebounds.

Xavier Patterson scored 12 points, Eli Vogel had eight and Mason Ackley of Superior, J’Vaun Walker, Enrique Sanchez and Josef Fahrenholtz added six points apiece to lead UWS.

The Yellowjackets play a nonconference game against Bethel at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at Mertz Mortorelli Gymnasium in Superior.
