Junior Brandon Myer scored 18 of his 25 points in the second half to lead Minnesota Duluth to a 77-70 victory over Minot State before 550 fans at Romano Gym on Saturday.
Myer, a Superior graduate, made 6 of 10 field goals and 5 of 7 free throws in the second half to keep the Bulldogs (8-6 overall, 5-5 NSIC) in front of the Beavers (7-12, 2-8).
Sean Burns (14 points on 7-for-9 shooting) and Mamadou Ngom (13) also provided key contributions for the Bulldogs.
David Akibo was Minot State's leading scorer with 19 points.
• Montroy Scott scored the final of his 33 points on a free throw with 10 seconds to play in overtime, lifting Wisconsin-Superior to a 92-91 victory over North Central in UMAC action at Mertz Mortorelli Gym in Superior.

Mac Reykdal added 26 points for the Yellowjackets (3-13, 2-6 UMAC), who ended a five-game losing streak. John Pioro of UWS sent the game into overtime when he hit a 3-point at the buzzer.
Micah Filer and Jared High each scored 31 points to lead North Central (4-11, 0-7).
