It's still incredibly early in the season, but 2010 Duluth East High School graduate Dyami Starks is the nation's leading scorer in Division I men's basketball.

Starks, a junior at Bryant University in Rhode Island, scored 35 points in each of the Bulldogs' first two games, a loss to No. 15 Gonzaga and a win over Dartmouth.

If Starks scores at least 30 points today in the Bulldogs' game against Vermont, he will become the first player in the history of the Northeast Conference to tally 100 points in his team's first three games.

The 6-foot-2 guard, a Mr. Basketball finalist as a senior at East, led Bryant in scoring a year ago (17.7) en route to being landing on the All-Northeast Conference second team.
