Minnesota Duluth men's basketball picked up a Sunday nonconference game at Ferris State to replace a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference game lost to St. Cloud State's COVID-19 protocols.

The noon Central time match in Big Rapids, Michigan pits No. 9 (UMD) and No. 23 (Ferris) in the most recent national Division II coaches' poll. Both UMD (13-0) and Ferris (9-2) are averaging more than 86 points per game and are ranked in the top 20 in the country in scoring offense.

UMD will return to conference play on Friday at home against Minnesota State-Mankato.
