Minnesota Duluth announced Wednesday the addition of Lincoln Meister to its 2020 recruiting class.
Meister, a 6-foot-9 forward from Rochester, Minn., averaged 22.1 points and 9.1 rebounds as a senior for Rochester John Marshall this winter, a big increase from his junior year (11.9 ppg, 6.8 rpg). Meister, the son of Kurt and Angie Meister, both of whom were standout basketball players at South Dakota State, is listed as the No. 31-ranked prospect in Minnesota’s 2020 class by Prep Hoops Minnesota.
Meister is the sixth member of the Bulldogs’ 2020 recruiting class, joining previously signed local products Peter Soumis of Hermantown and John Sutherland of Grand Rapids, as well as Austin Andrews (Eden Prairie, Minn.), Charlie Katona (Shakopee, Minn.) and Zach Lea (Chaska, Minn.).
