For the third straight week, the Minnesota Duluth men are ranked seventh in the USCHO.com Division I poll.
UMD is 15-10-1 after a split at No. 10 Denver. The Bulldogs lost 3-2 Friday night and won 4-2 Saturday. They are third in the NCHC at 28 points, four points behind league-leading Nebraska-Omaha and three behind North Dakota.
UMD, at home this weekend against Northern Michigan in its final nonconference action of the season, is one of five NCHC clubs in the top 20. Others include North Dakota (No. 2), Omaha (4) and Miami (tied for eighth). Minnesota State-Mankato of the WCHA moved back into the top spot.
The Bulldogs are fifth in the Pairwise rankings.

  •   After a home loss and tie vs. North Dakota, the UMD women fell one spot, to No. 7, in Monday’s USCHO.com poll.

Things don’t get any easier for the Bulldogs (17-7-4), who travel to third-ranked Wisconsin this weekend and second-ranked Minnesota on Feb. 13-14.

  •   The Wisconsin-Superior women (14-7) are “receiving votes” in the Division III poll.
