Minnesota Duluth moved up only one spot to 18th in this week's United States College Hockey Online Division I top-20 men's poll despite a thorough 6-2 thrashing at Minnesota on Sunday.
The Gophers (9-2-1), who beat UMD 6-1 on Friday, remained No. 1 by one point over St. Cloud State (9-1-2), which totaled five more first-place votes. The Bulldogs (6-5-1) face the Huskies in their next series, Dec. 6-7 at Amsoil Arena, meaning they will have played six games against teams ranked in the top two in the first half of the season.
