College hockey: St. Norbert blanks Saints men

Ross Pavek and Dominick Sacco scored goals 1 minute, 32 seconds apart early in the third period and T.J. Black totaled 13 saves in the shutout for the Green Knights (17-4-1 overall, 13-3-1 NCHA), who are six points ahead with three games to play and have clinched at least a tie for the division title.

Zane Steeves stopped 32 shots, including 26 combined in the first two periods, for the Saints (12-9-, 10-6-1).

Veronika Metanova halved the deficit for Concordia (9-12-2, 5-10-2) just 41 seconds into the third before Denisa Lalikova ended the scoring with an empty-net goal with 33 seconds to play.

The Yellowjackets scored two third-period goals and Kim Kobar totaled 21 saves in a WIAC victory at Stevens Point.

Meredith Ingbretson gave the Pointers (12-9-2 overall, 4-5 WIAC) a 1-0 lead midway through the second period before Molly Shelton tied the game on a power play 2:13 into the third and Leah Elledge won it with an unassisted goal at 6:34.

UWS improved to 11-13 and 2-7.
