Spencer Viita and Hannah Johnson captured medalist honors while leading the St. Scholastica men and women to tournament titles during Tuesday's North Central Invitational at Les Bolstad Golf Course in St. Paul.
Viita shot a 2-over-par 73, while teammates Liam Butche and Cole Martin were a stroke back in a tie for second as the Saints finished with a winning team score of 301 strokes - nine better than runner-up Northland College.
Johnson, meanwhile, paced the St. Scholastica women with an 18-over 89. Kristen Lilya (91) and Hannah Cornwell (92) were second and third, respectively, for the Saints, who won handily. Their team total of 383 was 19 shots better than second-place Minnesota-Morris.
