Minnesota Duluth remains third in the second NCAA Division II Super Region Three rankings released Monday.

The top six teams were unchanged from last week, with Northwest Missouri State (9-0) holding down the top spot followed by three Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference schools in Minnesota State-Mankato (9-0), UMD (8-1) and St. Cloud State (8-1).

Henderson State (9-0) is fifth, followed by Pittsburg State (7-1), Emporia State (8-0), Washburn (8-1), Missouri Western State (7-2) and Harding (6-2).

The rankings are used to determine the NCAA Division II tournament field, with the top six teams in the final rankings making the playoffs.

  • The Bulldogs moved up one spot to fifth in the American Football Coaches Association DII rankings released Monday. Mankato continues to hold down the top spot as Super Region Three has five of the nation's top six ranked teams.
