Zach Hulce rushed eight times for 85 yards and two touchdowns in relief duty to help lead Minnesota Duluth to a 37-6 homecoming victory over Northern State this afternoon before a record crowd of 6,044 at Malosky Stadium.
Hulce received added playing time after teammate Austin Sikorski, UMD's leading rusher coming in, went down with a knee injury in the first half and did not return.
Teammate Brian Lucas added 16 carries for 100 yards and another score as the Bulldogs (7-1 overall, 6-1 NSIC) broke from a tight game by wearing down the Wolves (2-6, 1-6).
