Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College defeated Northland Technical and Community College 17-0 Saturday at Bromberg Field in Cloquet.
The Thunder (3-2 overall, 2-0 Northern Division) earned their first shutout in program history.
Fond du Lac held Northland to 46 rushing yards and 220 total yards, with four sacks and forced three fumbles.
The Thunder led 10-0 in the first quarter on a touchdown run by Victor Griffin and a field goal by kicker Tony Makela. Griffin rushed 36 times for 154 yards to lead the offense. Jordan Myles scored the final Thunder touchdown late in the fourth quarter. The Thunder offense produced 199 rushing yards and 373 yards.
