St. Thomas favored to win MIAC
St. Thomas is favored to win the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, according to the preseason coaches' poll released Thursday.
Last season the Tommies completed the first back-to-back 10-0 regular seasons in league history and advanced to the NCAA Division III national semifinals. St. Thomas garnered eight first-place votes and 64 points, followed by Bethel (52), St. Olaf (48), St. John's (46), Concordia-Moorhead (37), Gustavus (28), Augsburg (26), Carleton (15) and Hamline (8).
