St. Scholastica defensive coordinator Tom Parkevich has been named head coach at Iowa Wesleyan College, it was announced Monday.

Parkevich guided a defense that led NCAA Division III in turnover margin in the 2011 season. The Saints went 10-0, in just their fourth year as a program, and made their first NCAA playoff appearance.

Iowa Wesleyan, currently an NAIA school, has applied for NCAA Division III membership and joined the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
