Unbeaten Saints go to Dome Day
St. Scholastica will look to stay unbeaten when the Saints play Presentation College at 7 p.m. today as part of the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference's final Dome Day weekend.
The Saints (7-0, 6-0 UMAC) are coming off a 51-21 victory over Crown as St. Scholastica set a program record for points in a game, and senior quarterback Alex Thiry threw for a school-record 377 yards and six touchdowns.
Presentation (3-4, 3-3), meanwhile, had its three-game winning streak snapped last weekend in a 28-24 loss to Minnesota-Morris.
The Saints have Minnesota college football's longest winning streak at 11 games, and a win today would clinch at least a share of the conference title. With a Eureka loss on Saturday, St. Scholastica would earn the conference's first automatic NCAA playoff qualifier.
